Salmos, 130

1. Desde el abismo clamo a ti, Señor,

1. A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2. ¡Señor, escucha mi voz! que tus oídos pongan atención al clamor de mis súplicas!

2. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3. Señor, si no te olvidas de las faltas, Adonai, ¿quién podrá subsistir?

3. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4. Pero de ti procede el perdón, y así se te venera.

4. But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5. Espero, Señor, mi alma espera, confío en tu palabra;

5. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6. mi alma cuenta con el Señor más que con la aurora, el centinela.

6. My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.

7. Como confía en la aurora el centinela, así Israel confíe en el Señor; porque junto al Señor está su bondad y la abundancia de sus liberaciones,

7. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.

8. y él liberará a Israel de todas sus culpas.

8. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
