Salmos, 115

1. ¡No a nosotros, Señor, nos des la gloria, no a nosotros, sino a tu nombre, llevado por tu amor, tu lealtad!

1. Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth's sake.

2. ¿Quieres que digan los paganos: "¿Dónde está, pues, su Dios?"

2. Wherefore should the heathen say, Where [is] now their God?

3. Nuestro Dios está en los cielos, él realiza todo lo que quiere.

3. But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

4. Sus ídolos no son más que oro y plata, una obra de la mano del hombre.

4. Their idols [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

5. Tienen una boca pero no hablan, ojos, pero no ven , orejas, pero no oyen, nariz, pero no huelen.

5. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

6. Tienen manos, mas no palpan, pies, pero no andan, ni un susurro sale de su garganta.

6. They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

7. ¡Que sean como ellos los que los fabrican y todos los que en ellos tienen confianza!

7. They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

8. ¡Casa de Israel, confíen en el Señor, él es su socorro y su escudo!

8. They that make them are like unto them; [so is] every one that trusteth in them.

9. ¡Casa de Aarón, confíen en el Señor, él es su socorro y su escudo!

9. O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

10. ¡Los que temen al Señor, confíen en el Señor, él es su socorro y su escudo!

10. O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

11. El Señor no nos olvida, nos bendecirá: bendecirá a la casa de Israel, bendecirá a la casa de Aarón,

11. Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

12. bendecirá a los que temen al Señor, tanto a los pequeños como a los grandes.

12. The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless [us]; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13. Que el Señor los haga crecer a ustedes y a sus hijos.

13. He will bless them that fear the LORD, [both] small and great.

14. ¡Que el Señor los bendiga, el que hizo los cielos y la tierra!

14. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15. Los cielos son la morada del Señor, mas dio la tierra a los hijos de Adán.

15. Ye [are] blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

16. No son los muertos los que alaban al Señor, ni todos los que bajan al Silencio,

16. The heaven, [even] the heavens, [are] the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17. mas nosotros, los vivos, bendecimos al Señor desde ahora y para siempre.

17. The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

18.

18. But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
