Salmos, 146

1. ¡Aleluya! ¡Alaba al Señor, alma mía!

1. Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2. Mientras viva yo quiero alabar al Señor, quiero salmodiar para el Señor mientras exista.

2. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

3. No pongas tucconfianza en los que mandan, ni en el mortal, que no puede salvarte;

3. Put not your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man, in whom [there is] no help.

4. no bien se le va el alma, vuelve al polvo, y ese día se acaban sus proyectos.

4. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5. Dichoso aquel que al Dios de Jacob tiene de ayuda y pone su esperanza en el Señor, su Dios,

5. Happy [is he] that [hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope [is] in the LORD his God:

6. en el que hizo los cielos y la tierra, el mar y todo cuanto ellos encierran. El su lealtad conserva siempre,

6. Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein [is]: which keepeth truth for ever:

7. y su justicia da a los oprimidos, proporciona su pan a los hambrientos. El Señor deja libres a los presos.

7. Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

8. el Señor da la vista a los ciegos, el Señor endereza a los encorvados, el Señor ama a los justos;

8. The LORD openeth [the eyes of] the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

9. da el Señor protección al forastero, y reanima al huérfano y a la viuda, mas desvía el camino de los malvados.

9. The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10. El Señor reina para siempre, tu Dios, Sión, de generación en generación. ¡Aleluya!

10. The LORD shall reign for ever, [even] thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
