Salmos, 34

1. Bendeciré al Señor en todo tiempo, no cesará mi boca de alabarlo.

1. <[A Psalm] of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.> I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise [shall] continually [be] in my mouth.

2. Mi alma se gloría en el Señor: que lo oigan los humildes y se alegren .

2. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and be glad.

3. Engrandezcan conmigo al Señor y ensalcemos a una su nombre.

3. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4. Busqué al Señor y me dio una respuesta y me libró de todos mis temores.

4. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5. Mírenlo a él y serán iluminados y no tendrán más cara de frustrados.

5. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6. Este pobre gritó y el Señor lo escuchó, y lo salvó de todas sus angustias.

6. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.

7. El ángel del Señor hace sus rondas junto a los que le temen y los guarda.

7. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8. Gusten y vean cuán bueno es el Señor ¡dichoso aquel que busca en él asilo!

8. O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him.

9. Teme al Señor, pueblo de los santos, pues nada les falta a los que le temen.

9. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for [there is] no want to them that fear him.

10. Los ricos se han quedado pobres y con hambre, pero a los que buscan al Señor nada les falta.

10. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good [thing].

11. Vengan, hijos, y pónganme atención, quiero enseñarles el temor del Señor.

11. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12. ¿Cuál es el hombre que anhela vivir y desea gozar días felices?

12. What man [is he that] desireth life, [and] loveth [many] days, that he may see good?

13. Guarda tu lengua del mal, tus labios de palabras mentirosas.

13. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14. Apártate del mal y haz el bien, busca la paz y ponte a perseguirla.

14. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15. Pero tiene puestos sus ojos en los justos y sus oídos pendientes de sus clamores.

15. The eyes of the LORD [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their cry.

16. El Señor aparta su cara de los malos y borra de la tierra su recuerdo.

16. The face of the LORD [is] against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17. En cuanto gritan, el Señor escucha, y los libra de todas sus angustias.

17. [The righteous] cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18. El Señor está cerca del corazón deshecho y salva a los de espíritu abatido.

18. The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19. Aunque el justo padezca muchos males, de todos los librará el Señor.

19. Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20. El cuida con afán todos sus huesos, no le será quebrado ni uno de ellos.

20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21. El malo morirá por su maldad y los que odian al justo, lo tendrán que pagar.

21. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22. Pero el Señor libra el alma de sus siervos, el que se ampara en él no tendrá que pagar.

22. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
