Salmos, 77

1. En voz alta clamo a Dios, en voz alta para que me escuche.

1. <To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph.> I cried unto God with my voice, [even] unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

2. Busqué al Señor, en el momento de la prueba, de noche sin descanso, hacia él tendí mi mano y mi alma se negó a ser consolada.

2. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

3. No me acuerdo de Dios sin que no gima, si medito, una duda acosa mi espíritu.

3. I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

4. No me permite dormir, me perturbo y me faltan las palabras.

4. Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

5. Es que pienso en los días de otrora, en los tiempos antiguos...

5. I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

6. Y me acuerdo, y por la noche mi corazón se atormenta, medito y mi espíritu se interroga:

6. I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

7. ¿Nos rechazará Dios para siempre y no reabrirá el tiempo de sus favores?

7. Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

8. ¿Ha clausurado su gracia para siempre, y encerrado su palabra para el futuro?

8. Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth [his] promise fail for evermore?

9. ¿Se ha olvidado Dios de su compasión o la cólera ha cerrado sus entrañas?

9. Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

10. Y me dije: "Lo que me traspasa es que ha cambiado la diestra del Altísimo".

10. And I said, This [is] my infirmity: [but I will remember] the years of the right hand of the most High.

11. Recuerdo las hazañas del Señor, recuerdo tus milagros de otros tiempos,.

11. I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

12. En tus obras medito, una a una, y pienso en tus hazañas.

12. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

13. ¡Oh Dios, en tus obras todo es santo! ¿qué dios es tan grande como nuestro Dios?

13. Thy way, O God, [is] in the sanctuary: who [is so] great a God as [our] God?

14. Tú eres el Dios que hace maravillas, tú demuestras tu fuerza entre los pueblos.

14. Thou [art] the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

15. Por tu brazo, a tu pueblo rescataste, a los hijos de Jacob y de José.

15. Thou hast with [thine] arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16. Oh Dios, las aguas te vieron, te vieron y se estremecieron, y hasta sus honduras enmudecieron.

16. The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

17. Las nubes descargaron aguaceros, las nubes hicieron oír su voz, mientras tus flechas se arremolinaban.

17. The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

18. Se oía de tu trueno el retumbar, tus relámpagos el mundo iluminaban, la tierra se asombraba y estremecía.

18. The voice of thy thunder [was] in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

19. Tu camino cruzaba por el mar, por aguas profundas corrían tus senderos, y nadie supo dar cuenta de tus huellas.

19. Thy way [is] in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

20. Tú guiabas a tu pueblo, a tu rebaño, por la mano de Moisés y de Aarón.

20. Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
