Salmos, 99

1. El Señor reina, tiemblan los pueblos; monta en querubines, la tierra se estremece.

1. The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth [between] the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

2. En Sión el Señor es muy grande, exaltado por encima de todos los pueblos.

2. The LORD [is] great in Zion; and he [is] high above all the people.

3. Que celebran tu nombre grande y terrible: "¡El es Santo!"

3. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; [for] it [is] holy.

4. Rey poderoso, amante de la justicia, tú has establecido la rectitud, tú ejerces en Jacob el derecho y la sentencia justa.

4. The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5. Ensalcen al Señor, nuestro Dios, póstrense ante la tarima de sus pies: ¡El es Santo!

5. Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; [for] he [is] holy.

6. Moisés y Aarón eran sus sacerdotes, Samuel también invocaba su nombre: invocaban al Señor y él les respondía.

6. Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

7. De la columna de nube les hablaba, guardaban sus órdenes, las leyes que les dio.

7. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance [that] he gave them.

8. Oh Señor, nuestro Dios, tú les respondías, tú eras para ellos un Dios tolerante, pero no les dejabas pasar nada.

8. Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

9. Ensalcen al Señor, nuestro Dios, póstrense ante su santo monte: ¡Santo es el Señor nuestro Dios!

9. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God [is] holy.
