Psalms, 125

1. A Canticle in steps. When the Lord turned back the captivity of Zion, we became like those who are consoled.

1. Hodoèasnièka pjesma. Tko se uzda u Jahvu, on je kao brdo Sion: ne pomièe se, ostaje dovijeka.

2. Then our mouth was filled with gladness and our tongue with exultation. Then they will say among the nations: “The Lord has done great things for them.”

2. Bregovi okružuju Jeruzalem: Jahve okružuje narod svoj odsada i dovijeka.

3. The Lord has done great things for us. We have become joyful.

3. I neæe vladati žezlo bezbožnièko nad udesom pravednih, da ne bi pravedni ruke za bezakonjem pružili.

4. Convert our captivity, O Lord, like a torrent in the south.

4. Uèini, Jahve, dobro dobrima i èestitima u srcu.

5. Those who sow in tears shall reap in exultation.

5. A koji na krive skreæu putove nek' ih istrijebi Jahve sa zloèincima! Mir nad Izraelom!

6. When departing, they went forth and wept, sowing their seeds.
