Psalms, 149

1. Alleluia! Sing to the Lord a new song, sing his praise in the assembly of his saints.

2. Let Israel rejoice in his Maker, let the people of Zion glory in their King!

3. Let them dance in praise of his name and make music for him with harp and timbrel.

4. For the Lord delights in his people; he crowns the lowly with victory.

5. The saints will exult in triumph; even at night on their couches.

6. Let the praise of God be on their lips, and in their hands two-edged swords,

7. to wreak vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,

8. to bind their kings in chains and their nobles in iron fetters,

9. to execute on them the written sentence: this is the glory of all his saints. Alleluia!

Psalm 148:1-2: "Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise Him in the heights. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts." In this verse, it is emphasized that even angels praise and worship the Lord, highlighting the importance of worship of God.

Psalm 95:1-2: "Come, let us sing to the Lord; let us jubilee before the rock of our salvation! Let us introduce ourselves before Him with thanksgiving, and celebrate him with psalms of praise." This verse invites people to come to worship and praise God with actions for free and songs of praise.
