Psalms, 59

4. Jer evo: dušu moju vrebaju, na me ustadoše silnici. Nema na meni krivnje, o Jahve, ni grijeha:

5. You have revealed to your people difficulties. You have made us drink the wine of remorse.

5. bez moje krivnje na me nasræu. Probudi se! Doði mi u pomoæ i pogledaj,

6. You have given a warning sign to those who fear you, so that they may flee from before the face of the bow, so that your beloved may be delivered.

6. Jahve, Bože nad Vojskama, Bože Izraelov! Preni se, kazni sve pogane, podlacima nemoj se smilovati!

7. Save me with your right hand, and hear me.

7. Uveèer se vraæaju, reže poput pasa i trèe po gradu.

8. God has spoken in his holy place: I will rejoice, and I will divide Shechem, and I will measure the steep valley of the tabernacles.

8. Gle, kako bljuju ustima; kletve su im na usnama i govore: "Tko nas èuje?"

9. Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. And Ephraim is the strength of my head. Judah is my king.

9. No, ti im se smiješ, o Jahve, i rugaš se poganima svima.

10. Moab is the cooking pot of my hope. Into Idumea, I will extend my shoe. To me, the foreigners have been made subject.

10. Jakosti moja, gledat æu na te, jer ti si, Bože, zaštita moja, Bog moj, milosrðe moje.

11. Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will lead me all the way to Idumea?

11. Bog neka mi pohiti u susret, nek' me razveseli nad dušmanima mojim!

12. Will not you, O God, who has rejected us? And will not you, O God, go out with our armies?

12. Pobij ih, Bože, da mi narod ne zavode, zbuni i obori ih jakošæu svojom, štite naš, Gospodine.

13. Grant us help from tribulation. For salvation from man is empty.

13. Grijeh je svaka rijeè usta njihovih: nek se uhvate u svoju oholost, u kletve i laži što ih govore!

14. In God, we will act virtuously. And those who trouble us, he will lead to nothing.

14. Istrijebi ih u gnjevu, istrijebi da nestanu, nek' se zna da Bog vlada u Jakovu i do nakraj zemlje!

15. Uveèer se vraæaju, reže poput pasa i trèe po gradu.

16. Nek' lutaju okolo tražeæi hranu; i kad se nasite, neka zavijaju.

17.

17. A ja æu opjevati silu tvoju i klicat æu jutrom milosrðu tvome, jer mi ti postade utoèište i sklonište u dan nevolje.

18. Jakosti moja, tebi æu pjevati, jer ti si, Bože, zaštita moja, Bog moj, milosrðe moje.
