24. If it is an unintentional fault of the community, the community as a whole must make a burnt offering of a young bull, a sweet-smelling offering for Yahweh, with the required offering of flour and wine, and a he-goat must be offered as a sacrifice for sin.
Chapter 15 of numbers deals with the offer of voluntary sacrifices and offerings that should be presented to the Lord, as well as instructions on the observance of God's commandments. Following are five verses related to the topics addressed in numbers 15, in order of proximity to the chapter:
Leviticus 22:17-18: "And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, speak to Aaron and his children, and to all the sons of Israel, and say unto them, Any man of the house of Israel, or of foreigners in Israel , to offer your offer, whether of your vows, or your voluntary offerings, which they offer the Lord in Holocaust; " This verse talks about the offer of sacrifices that should be presented to the Lord, which is similar to what is addressed in numbers 15.
