Salmos, 82

1. Salmo. De Asaf. Dios se levanta en la asamblea divina, en medio de los dioses juzga:

1. <A Psalm of Asaph.> God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2. «¿Hasta cuándo juzgaréis inicuamente, y haréis acepción de los impíos?

2. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3. Juzgad en favor del débil y del huérfano, al humilde, al indigente haced justicia;

3. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4. al débil y al pobre liberad, de la mano de los impíos arrancadle!»

4. Deliver the poor and needy: rid [them] out of the hand of the wicked.

5. No saben ni comprenden; caminan en tinieblas, todos los cimientos de la tierra vacilan.

5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6. Yo había dicho: «¡Vosotros, dioses sois, todos vosotros, hijos del Altísimo!»

6. I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.

7. Mas ahora, como el hombre moriréis, como uno solo caeréis, príncipes.

7. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8. ¡Alzate, oh Dios, juzga a la tierra, pues tú eres el señor de todas las naciones!

8. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
