Salmos, 135
1. ¡Aleluya! Alabad el nombre de Yahveh, alabad, servidores de Yahveh,
1. Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise [him], O ye servants of the LORD.
2. que servís en la Casa de Yahveh, en los atrios de la Casa del Dios nuestro.
2. Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
3. Alabad a Yahveh, porque es bueno Yahveh, salmodiad a su nombre, que es amable.
3. Praise the LORD; for the LORD [is] good: sing praises unto his name; for [it is] pleasant.
4. Pues Yahveh se ha elegido a Jacob, a Israel, como su propiedad.
4. For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5. Bien sé yo que es grande Yahveh, nuestro Señor más que todos los dioses.
5. For I know that the LORD [is] great, and [that] our Lord [is] above all gods.
6. Todo cuanto agrada a Yahveh, lo hace en el cielo y en la tierra, en los mares y en todos los abismos.
6. Whatsoever the LORD pleased, [that] did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7. Levantando las nubes desde el extremo de la tierra, para la lluvia hace él los relámpagos, saca de sus depósitos el viento.
7. He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8. El hirió a los primogénitos de Egipto, desde el hombre al ganado;
8. Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9. mandó señales y prodigios en medio de ti, Egipto, contra Faraón y todos sus siervos.
9. [Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10. Hirió a naciones en gran número, dio muerte a reyes poderosos,
10. Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11. a Sijón, rey de los amorreos, a Og, rey de Basán, y a todos los reinos de Canaán;
11. Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12. y dio sus tierras en herencia, en herencia a su pueblo Israel.
12. And gave their land [for] an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13. ¡Yahveh, tu nombre para siempre, Yahveh, tu memoria de edad en edad!
13. Thy name, O LORD, [endureth] for ever; [and] thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14. Porque Yahveh a su pueblo hace justicia, y se compadece de sus siervos.
14. For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15. Los ídolos de las naciones, plata y oro, obra de manos de hombre
15. The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16. tienen boca y no hablan, tienen ojos y no ven;
16. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17. tienen oídos y no oyen, ni un soplo siquiera hay en su boca.
17. They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there [any] breath in their mouths.
18. Como ellos serán los que los hacen, cuantos en ellos ponen su confianza.
18. They that make them are like unto them: [so is] every one that trusteth in them.
19. Caza de Israel, bendecid a Yahveh, casa de Aarón, bendecid a Yahveh,
19. Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20. casa de Leví, bendecid a Yahveh, los que a Yahveh teméis, bendecid a Yahveh.
20. Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21. ¡Bendito sea Yahveh desde Sión, el que habita en Jerusalén!
21. Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
