Salmos, 36

1. Del maestro de coro. Del siervo de Yahveh. De David.

1. <To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David the servant of the LORD.> The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, [that there is] no fear of God before his eyes.

2. Un oráculo para el impío es el pecado en el fondo de su corazón; temor de Dios no existe delante de sus ojos.

2. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

3. Con ojo harto lisonjero se mira, para encontrar y detestar su culpa;

3. The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, [and] to do good.

4. las palabras de su boca, iniquidad y engaño; renunció a ser sensato, a hacer el bien.

4. He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way [that is] not good; he abhorreth not evil.

5. Sólo maquina iniquidad sobre su lecho; en un camino que no es bueno se obstina y no reprueba el mal.

5. Thy mercy, O LORD, [is] in the heavens; [and] thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds.

6. Oh Yahveh, en los cielos tu amor, hasta las nubes tu verdad;

6. Thy righteousness [is] like the great mountains; thy judgments [are] a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

7. tu justicia, como los montes de Dios, tus juicios, como el hondo abismo. A hombres y bestias salvas tú, Yahveh,

7. How excellent [is] thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

8. oh Dios, ¡qué precioso tu amor! Por eso los hijos de Adán, a la sombra de tus alas se cobijan.

8. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

9. Se sacian de la grasa de tu Casa, en el torrente de tus delicias los abrevas;

9. For with thee [is] the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

10. en ti está la fuente de la vida, y en tu luz vemos la luz.

10. O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

11. Guarda tu amor a los que te conocen, y tu justicia a los de recto corazón.

11. Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

12. ¡Que el pie del orgullo no me alcance, ni la mano de los impíos me avente!

12. There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

13. Ved cómo caen los agentes de mal, abatidos, no pueden levantarse.
