Jeremiah, 7

31. In the Valley of Ben-hinnom they have built the high place of Topheth to immolate in fire their sons and their daughters, such a thing as I never commanded or had in mind.

They have become a burden to me; I'm tired of carrying it. " This verse shows that worship of God without repentance and life change is useless and disgusting to Him.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18 - "What agreement can there be between the temple of God and the idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said, 'I will dwell with them and walk among them; They will be my people. 'Therefore, leave their midst and separate, say the Lord. Do not touch impure things, and I will receive them. " This verse highlights the importance of being saints and separating from sin so that God will dwell in us.
