John, 15

16. It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.

John chapter 15 contains Jesus' words about the true vine and its branches. He teaches the importance of remaining in him and his commandments to produce fruits. Philippians 4:13: "I can do everything in him who strengthens me." This verse talks about the importance of trusting God to give us strength in all situations, just as Jesus emphasizes the importance of remaining in him to bear fruit.

Colossians 1:10: "So that you may walk in dignifying before the Lord, pleasing to him in everything, fruitful in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God."
