1 Kings, 13

6. Then the king appealed to the man of God. "Entreat the LORD, your God," he said, "and intercede for me that I may be able to withdraw my hand." So the man of God entreated the LORD, and the king recovered the normal use of his hand.

This verse warns that there are still people who are going through spiritual leaders, but in fact they are preaching misleading messages that can take people away from God.

Psalm 119:105: "Lamp for my feet is your word, and light to my way." This verse highlights the importance of God's Word as a guide to the Christian life. The Prophet in 1 Kings 13 would have avoided death if he had faithfully followed God's instructions.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding; recognize the Lord in all your ways, and He will straighten your paths." This verse encourages Christians to trust God instead of trusting themselves or in other people's opinions. This is especially important in situations where the choices we make can have serious consequences.
