Salmos, 62

1. Del maestro de coro... Yedutún. Salmo. De David.

1. <To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.> Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation.

2. En Dios sólo el descanso de mi alma, de él viene mi salvación;

2. He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [he is] my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

3. sólo él mi roca, mi salvación, mi ciudadela, no he de vacilar.

3. How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall [shall ye be, and as] a tottering fence.

4. ¿Hasta cuándo atacaréis a un solo hombre, le abatiréis, vosotros todos, como a una muralla que se vence, como a pared que se desploma?

4. They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

5. Doblez sólo proyectan, su placer es seducir; con mentira en la boca, bendicen, y por dentro maldicen.

5. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.

6. En Dios sólo descansa, oh alma mía, de él viene mi esperanza;

6. He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defence; I shall not be moved.

7. sólo él mi roca, mi salvación, mi ciudadela, no he de vacilar;

7. In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.

8. en Dios mi salvación y mi gloria, la roca de mi fuerza. En Dios mi refugio;

8. Trust in him at all times; [ye] people, pour out your heart before him: God [is] a refuge for us. Selah.

9. confiad en él, oh pueblo, en todo tiempo; derramad ante él vuestro corazón, ¡Dios es nuestro refugio!

9. Surely men of low degree [are] vanity, [and] men of high degree [are] a lie: to be laid in the balance, they [are] altogether [lighter] than vanity.

10. Un soplo solamente los hijos de Adán, los hijos de hombre, una mentira; si subieran a la balanza serían menos que un soplo todos juntos.

10. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [upon them].

11. No os fiéis de la opresión, no os ilusionéis con la rapiña; a las riquezas, cuando aumenten, no apeguéis el corazón.

11. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God.

12. Dios ha hablado una vez, dos veces, lo he oído: Que de Dios es la fuerza,

12. Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

13. tuyo, Señor, el amor; y: Que tú al hombre pagas con arreglo a sus obras.
