Judith, 15

8. Then the high priest Joakim and the council of the Elders of Israel in Jerusalem came to hear the good things which the Lord had done for Israel, and to see Judith and congratulate her.

Judite may have found courage and strength to face the Assyrian army knowing that God was with her and would help her to win.

Joshua 1:9: "Didn't I order you to be strong and brave? Do not be afraid or beyond, for the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go." This verse encourages Joshua to lead the people of Israel to the Promised Land and may have served as an inspiration to Judite, who led his people to victory against the Assyrians.
