Isaiah, 23

2. Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.

Ezekiel 26:3 - "Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I am against you, O shot, and I will make many nations go up against you, as the sea makes your waves up." Amos 1:9 - "Thus says the Lord, For three shot transgressions, and for four I will not remove the punishment, because they have given all the captives to Edom, and did not remember the brothers' covenant." This verse mentions the Tire Covenant with Israel, which may have contributed to its fall.

This verse refers to the fall of Babylon, but can be applied to the fall of shooting and other cities that were destroyed because of its arrogance and sin.
