Isaiah, 46

7. They bear him on their shoulders and carry him, and set him in his piece, and he shall stand, and shall not stir out of his place. Yea, when they shall cry also unto him, he shall not hear: he shall not save them from tribulation.

Isaiah 46 begins with a message from God to the people of Israel, reminding them that He is the only true God and that they should not bend before idols or other false gods. God emphasizes that he has been the same since the beginning of time and will always fulfill his promises. He urges the people to trust him and not be afraid, for they will protect and save them. Next, five verses related to the topics addressed in Isaiah 46:

Psalm 115:3: "But our God is in heaven; He does everything that pleases Him." This verse talks about the sovereignty and the power of God, which is the same theme as Isaiah 46.

Deuteronomy 4:35: "To you has been shown to you, so that you knew that the Lord is God; no other there is not Him." Moses emphasizes that there are no gods other than Yahweh, which is the same theme as Isaiah 46.

Psalm 135:15-18: "The idols of nations are silver and gold, work of men's hands. They have mouth, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see; they have ears, but they do not hear, nor is there any breathing in their Boca. Similar to them are the ones who make them, just like all who trust them. " This psalm describes the idols that people worship, contrasting them with the true God, who is alive and active.

Matthew 6:31-33: "Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about yourself. Your evil is enough every day." Jesus talks about the importance of trusting God and not worrying about the future, which is similar to the message of Isaiah 46.

Hebrews 13:8: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and eternally." This verse talks about the immutability of Jesus Christ, which is the same theme as Isaiah 46, where God emphasizes that He is the same since the beginning of time and will always fulfill His promises.
