Salmos, 82

1. Se ha puesto Dios de pie en la asamblea divina para dictar sentencia en medio de los dioses:

1. <A Psalm of Asaph.> God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2. "¿Hasta cuándo juzgarán inicuamente y tendrán miramientos con los malos?

2. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3. Denle el favor al débil y al huérfano, hagan justicia al que sufre y al pobre;

3. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4. si los ven tan débiles e indigentes, sálvenlos de la mano de los impíos".

4. Deliver the poor and needy: rid [them] out of the hand of the wicked.

5. Esta gente no sabe ni comprende, no dan más que vueltas en sus tinieblas, y las bases de la tierra se conmueven.

5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6. Había dicho: "Ustedes serán dioses, serán todos hijos del Altísimo".

6. I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.

7. Pero, ahora como hombres morirán y como seres de carne caerán".

7. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8. Oh Dios, ponte de pie, juzga la tierra,. pues tú dominas todas las naciones.

8. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
