3. "I will not enter the house where I live, nor lie on the couch where I sleep;

4. I will give my eyes no sleep, my eyelids no rest,

4. will not allow myself to sleep, not even to close my eyes,

5. Till I find a home for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob."

14. 'Here shall I rest for evermore, here shall I make my home as I have wished.

15. I will bless Zion with meat; its poor I will fill with bread.

15. 'I shall generously bless her produce, give her needy their fill of food,

16. I will clothe its priests with blessing; its faithful shall shout for joy.

16. I shall clothe her priests with salvation, and her faithful will sing aloud for joy.

17. There I will make a horn sprout for David's line; I will set a lamp for my anointed.

17. 'There I shall raise up a line of descendants for David, light a lamp for my anointed;

18. His foes I will clothe with shame, but on him my crown shall gleam."

18. I shall clothe his enemies with shame, while his own crown shall flourish.'
