Romans, 7

6. But we have died to what was holding us; we are freed from the Law and no longer serve a written law - which was the old; with the Spirit we are in the new.

Romans 7 addresses the Christian's internal struggle between flesh and spirit. The chapter highlights the sinful nature of the flesh and the inability of man to achieve justice by his own strength.
