Ezekiel, 21

33. 'Son of man, prophesy and say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: In reply to the Ammonites and their jeers, say: The sword, the sword is drawn for slaughter, polished to devour, to flash like lightning-

Isaiah 34:5: "For my sword has been drunk in heaven; behold, she will come down over Edom, and the people of my anathema to perform judgment." In this verse, God's sword is described as being used to execute judgment against the wicked. In Ezekiel chapter 21, God's sword is also used to execute judgment against Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 23:24: "Will anyone hide in hiding places, so that I do not see him? In this verse, God talks about His omnipresence and how He sees everything. In Ezekiel chapter 21, God is observing the situation in Jerusalem and planning his action as the omnipresent and omniscient god.
