Genesis, 2

19. So the LORD God formed out of the ground various wild animals and various birds of the air, and he brought them to the man to see what he would call them; whatever the man called each of them would be its name.

Genesis 2 is the second chapter of the Bible and details the creation of man and woman for God. He describes how God created man from the dust of the earth and blew in his nostrils the breath of life, created the garden of Eden for man to dwell, put the man in the garden and gave him the task of cultivating him and keeping him, and created the woman from the man's rib.
