Isaiah 19 talks about God's judgment prophecy about Egypt and the promise of redemption to the Egyptian people. In this chapter, the role that Egypt will play in the future plan of God for the world is also mentioned. Below are five verses related to the topics addressed in Isaiah 19:
Jeremiah 46:25: "The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, said, Behold, I will punish amom of no, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, together with their gods and kings; yes, I will punish Pharaoh, and to all who trust him. Although not directly related to the prophecy of Isaiah 19, it suggests that Egypt is seen as a symbol of corruption and oppression in the Bible.
