Lamentations, 1

4. Daleth. The ways of Sion mourn, because there are none that come to the solemn feast: all her gates are broken down: her priests sigh: her virgins are in affliction, and she is oppressed with bitterness.

Psalm 137:1: "Next to the rivers of Babylon, we settle there and cry, when we remember Zion." This verse shows the pain and sadness of the exiles in Babylon, who remember their homeland and cry for the loss of Jerusalem.

Isaiah 51:19: "These two things came to you, who shall it be compassioned on? This verse shows God's sadness for the suffering of Jerusalem and the sense of impotence in the face of destruction.
