Jeremiah, 11

4. Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying: Hear ye my voice, and do all things that I command you: and you shall be my people, and I will be your God:

Deuteronomy 28:9: "The Lord will confirm to you as a holy people, how you swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and walk in your ways." This verse speaks of God's promise to bless and protect his people if they kept their commandments and follow their ways.

Leviticus 26:15-16: "And if you do not hear me and do not fulfill all these commandments, if you despise my statutes and your soul tire of my judgments, so that you do not want to fulfill all my commandments, thus nullifying mine Covenant, I will do this: I will put upon you the terror, his scholars, and the burning fever, who will consume the eyes and to define the soul; and shall sow in vain your seed, for your enemies will eat it. However, I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and establish an eternal covenant with you . " This verse speaks of God's faithfulness to his covenant, even when his people do not fulfill it, and his promise of an eternal covenant with them.

Psalm 25:10: "All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to those who keep their covenant and their testimonies." This verse speaks of the importance of obedience to the covenant with God and the promise of mercy and truth to those who keep it.
