Apocalypse, 14

1. Je regardai encore et voici que l'Agneau se tenait sur la montagne de Sion, et avec lui cent quarante-quatre mille personnes, qui avaient son nom et le nom de son Pére écrits sur le front.

1. Then I looked and there was the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

2. Et j'entendis un son qui venait du ciel, pareil au bruit de grandes eaux et à la vois d'un puissant tonnerre; et le son que j'entendis ressemblait à un concert de harpistes jouant de leurs instruments.

2. I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of rushing water or a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.

3. Et ils chantaient comme un cantique nouveau devant le trône, et devant les quatre animaux et les vieillards; et nul ne pouvait apprendre ce cantique, si ce n'est les cent quarante-quatre mille qui ont été rachetés de la terre.

3. They were singing (what seemed to be) a new hymn before the throne, before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn this hymn except the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been ransomed from the earth.

4. Ce sont ceux qui ne se sont pas souillés avec des femmes, car ils sont vierges. Ce sont eux qui accompagnent l'Agneau partout où il va. Ils ont été rachetés d'entre les hommes, comme des prémices pour Dieu et pour l'Agneau ;

4. These are they who were not defiled with women; they are virgins and these are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been ransomed as the firstfruits of the human race for God and the Lamb.

5. et il ne s'est point trouvé de mensonge dans leur bouche, car ils sont irréprochables.

5. On their lips no deceit has been found; they are unblemished.

6. Puis je vis un autre ange qui volait par le milieu du ciel, tenant l'Evangile éternel, pour l'annoncer aux habitants de la terre, à toute nation, à toute tribu, à toute langue et à tout peuple.

6. Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, with everlasting good news to announce to those who dwell on earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people.

7. Il disait d'une voix forte : " Craignez Dieu et donnez-lui gloire, car l'heure de son jugement est venue; adorez Celui qui a fait le ciel et la terre, la mer et les sources des eaux. "

11. The smoke of the fire that torments them will rise forever and ever, and there will be no relief day or night for those who worship the beast or its image or accept the mark of its name."

12. C'est ici que doit se montrer la patience des saints, qui gardent les commandements de Dieu et la foi en Jésus.

13. I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," said the Spirit, "let them find rest from their labors, for their works accompany them."

14. Puis je regardai, et voici que parut une nuée blanche, et sur la nuée quelqu'un était assis qui ressemblait a un fils de l'homme ayant sur sa tête une couronne d'or, et dans sa main une faucille tranchante.

14. Then I looked and there was a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud one who looked like a son of man, with a gold crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

15. Et un autre ange sortit du sanctuaire, criant d'une voix forte à celui qui était assis sur la nuée " Lance ta faucille et moissonne; car le moment de moissonner est venu, parce que la moisson de la terre est mure. "

17. Un autre ange sortit du sanctuaire qui est dans le ciel, portant, lui aussi, une faucille tranchante.

18. Et un autre ange, celui qui a pouvoir sur le feu, sortit de l'autel, et s'adressa d'une voix forte à celui qui avait la faucille tranchante, disant : " Lance ta faucille tranchante, et coupe les grappes de la vigne de la terre, car les raisins en sont murs. "

18. Then another angel (came) from the altar, (who) was in charge of the fire, and cried out in a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, "Use your sharp sickle and cut the clusters from the earth's vines, for its grapes are ripe."

19. Et l'ange jeta sa faucille sur la terre, et vendangea la vigne de la terre, et il en jeta les grappes dans la grande cuve de la colère de Dieu.

19. So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and cut the earth's vintage. He threw it into the great wine press of God's fury.

20. La cuve fut foulée hors de la ville, et il en sortit du sang jusqu'à la hauteur du mors des chevaux, sur un espace de mille six cents stades.

20. The wine press was trodden outside the city and blood poured out of the wine press to the height of a horse's bridle for two hundred miles.
