Psalm 37 is a psalm of wisdom that deals with the question of divine justice in contrast to the prosperity of the wicked. 1 Peter 3:12: "For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears, attentive to his prayers, but the Lord's face is against those who do evil." This verse reinforces the idea that God is always vigilant about the righteous and that he does not allow injustice to prevail.
