Hosea, 9

4. They shall not offer wine [offerings] to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices [shall be] unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.

Hosea Chapter 9 deals with the imminent punishment that God will bring about the people of Israel because of their sins and infidelity. Jeremiah 17:10: "I, the Lord, squad my heart, I prove the thoughts; and this to give each one according to his ways, according to the fruit of his works." This verse talks about God's righteousness and how he judges each one according to his works, a theme present in Hosea 9.
