Hosea, 4

3. Because of this, the land will mourn, and all who dwell in it will languish, with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air. And the fishes of the sea also will be gathered together.

Chapter 4 of Hosea addresses the question of idolatry and the lack of knowledge of God by the people of Israel and its leaders. The prophet Hosea condemns the worship of idols and the corruption of leaders, pointing out the wrong behavior as the cause of people's problems. Isaiah 1:2-3: "I heard, O heavens, and hear, O earth; for the Lord said, I raised children, and magnified them; but they rebelled against me. Owner of his manger; but Israel is unaware, my people do not understand. " This verse talks about the lack of knowledge of God by the people of Israel, which relates to the central theme of Hosea 4.
