Jeremiah, 13

13. You will reply, "You are the pitchers that Yahweh will fill until you are drunk. I am going to fill with drunkenness all who live in this land - kings who succeed David, the priests, the prophets and all who live in Jerusalem.

" This verse speaks of Israel's infidelity to seek attention and approval of others rather than trusting God.

Hosea 10:12: "Semeai to you in righteousness, I ran according to mercy; WASTING THE FIELD FIELD; For it is time to seek the Lord until it comes and raining justice upon you." This verse speaks of the importance of seeking God's righteousness and mercy rather than trusting in our own strengths and resources.

Romans 6:23: "For the salary of sin is death, but God's free gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." This verse speaks of the consequences of sin and the offer of eternal life that God gives through Jesus Christ.
