Psalms, 56

13. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, yea, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

Psalm 9:9: "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of difficulty." This verse speaks of God's protection to those who are oppressed and are experiencing difficult times, which is one of the psalmist's main concerns in Psalm 56.

Psalm 27:1: "The Lord is my light and my salvation - who should I fear? Is the Lord the fortress of my life - who should I be afraid of?" In this verse, the psalmist speaks of his confidence in God as his salvation and fortress, which is a constant theme in Psalm 56.

Psalm 118:6: "The Lord is with me, I'm not afraid; what can make me a human being?" This verse expresses the psalmist's confidence in God and his security to know that he is with him, even before his enemies.
