Ephesians, 2

2. Once you lived through them according to this world and followed the Sovereign Ruler who reigns between heaven and earth and who goes on working in those who resist the faith.

Ephesians 2 talks about salvation by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. The chapter describes how, before salvation, we were dead in our sins and we were objects of the wrath of God, but now, in Christ, we are saved by grace through faith.
