1 Samuel, 17

16. Every morning and again in the evening, the Philistine would come out to throw his challenge; this he did for forty days.

Psalm 56:3: "On the day I fear, I will trust you." This verse emphasizes the importance of trust in God, even in times of fear and uncertainty, which is an attitude that David demonstrates during his battle against Goliath.

Proverbs 21:31: "The horse is prepared for battle day, but victory comes from the Lord." This verse shows that although we can prepare to face the challenges, victory comes from God, and David trusts God to help him beat Goliath.

Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, because I am with you; do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand." This verse talks about the protection and help God offers to his children, what David experiences when he faces Goliath with confidence.
