2 Chronicles, 8

6. Balaath also and all the strong cities that were Solomon's, and all the cities of the chariots, and the cities of the horsemen. All that Solomon had a mind, and designed, he built in Jerusalem and in Libanus, and in all the land of his dominion.

1 Kings 10:26: "Solomon also gathered cars and knights; he had a thousand and four hundred cars and twelve thousand knights; and distributed them through the cities of the cars and with the king in Jerusalem." This verse talks about the military expansion of Solomon, which has accumulated a large amount of cars and knights to protect his kingdom.
