Ezekiel, 7

26. Trouble shall come upon trouble, and rumour upon rumour, and they shall seek a vision of the prophet, and the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

Ezekiel 7 describes the arrival of the day of judgment on Jerusalem because of its disobedience and sin. The verses selected below reflect God's judgment on the people of Jerusalem and their lack of repentance:
