1 Kings, 13

25. And behold, men who were passing by saw the dead body lying in the road, with the lion standing beside the body. And they went and made it widely known in the city where that elderly prophet was living.

They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign who rescued them, bringing upon themselves sudden destruction." This verse warns that there are still people who are going through spiritual leaders, but in fact they are preaching misleading messages that can take people away from God.

Psalm 119:105: "Lamp for my feet is your word, and light to my way." This verse highlights the importance of God's Word as a guide to the Christian life. The Prophet in 1 Kings 13 would have avoided death if he had faithfully followed God's instructions.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding; recognize the Lord in all your ways, and He will straighten your paths." This verse encourages Christians to trust God instead of trusting themselves or in other people's opinions. This is especially important in situations where the choices we make can have serious consequences.
