Wisdom of Solomon, 8

18. I would have pure delight through friendship with her, inexhaustible riches in what she does, understanding from being in her company and renown from sharing her conversation. Then I set out to seek and possess her.

Proverbs 9:10: "The fear of the Lord is the principle of wisdom, and the knowledge of the saint is prudence." This verse shows that wisdom has a direct connection with God and that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
