Deuteronomy 9 highlights God's faithfulness to fulfill their promises to the people of Israel, even if they were rebellious and disobedient. The chapter also recalls the episode in which Moses interceded for the people, asking for God's mercy and his decision to destroy them. " This verse highlights God's promise to transform the hearts of His people and write their law into their hearts, that they may obey and be faithful to him.
Romans 3:23-24: "For all have sinned and deprived are of the glory of God; being justified free of charge by His grace, by redemption in Christ Jesus." This verse reinforces the idea that all have sinned and need God's grace and mercy to be justified and saved, as was the case with the people of Israel.
