1 Samuel, 13

4. And all of Israel heard this report, that Saul had struck the garrison of the Philistines. And Israel raised himself up against the Philistines. Then the people cried out to Saul at Gilgal.

This verse talks about the danger of violating the laws of God and justice, as Saul does when he offers a sacrifice without the presence of the prophet Samuel. Saul's story in 1 Samuel 13 is an example of how disobedience to God's will can lead to negative consequences.
