Hosea, 9

10. I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: [but] they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto [that] shame; and [their] abominations were according as they loved.

Hosea Chapter 9 deals with the imminent punishment that God will bring about the people of Israel because of their sins and infidelity. Jeremiah 17:10: "I, the Lord, squad my heart, I prove the thoughts; and this to give each one according to his ways, according to the fruit of his works." This verse talks about God's righteousness and how he judges each one according to his works, a theme present in Hosea 9.
