Judith, 15

7. And the Israelites, when they returned from the slaughter, took possession of what remained, and the villages and towns in the hill country and in the plain got a great amount of booty, for there was a vast quantity of it.

Judite 15 narrates Judith's victory over the Assyrian army led by Holofernes. She can behead Holofernes while he slept, causing the enemy army's disorganization and his later defeat by the Israelites led by Ozias. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Judite 15:

This verse encourages Joshua to lead the people of Israel to the Promised Land and may have served as an inspiration to Judite, who led his people to victory against the Assyrians.
