Psalms, 40

10. I have not kept your saving justice locked in the depths of my heart, but have spoken of your constancy and saving help. I have made no secret of your faithful and steadfast love, in the great assembly.

Psalm 40 is an expression of trust in God and gratitude for your help in difficult times. He begins with David talking about how God took him out of a "well of destruction" and placed his feet on a firm rock. Psalm 37:23-24: "The Lord establishes the footsteps of a man, when his conduct pleases him; even if he stumbles, he will not fall, for the Lord takes him by the hand." This verse talks about how God takes care of those who follow Him and how He protects them and helps them in difficult times.
