Psalms, 18

2. Yahweh is my rock and my fortress, my deliverer is my God. I take refuge in him, my rock, my shield, my saving strength, my stronghold, my place of refuge.

Psalm 18 is a poetry attributed to King David, who expresses his gratitude to God for having delivered him from his enemies and death. Psalm 118:5-7: "From the midst of anguish I invoid the Lord; the Lord heard me and put me in a wide place. The Lord is for me; I will not fear what the man can do to me. The Lord is for me between me those who help me; so I will fulfill my desire for those who hate me. " This verse emphasizes the importance of seeking God in the midst of anguish, trusting in its protection and deliverance, even in the opposition of the enemies.
