1 Samuel, 5

10. They then sent the ark of God to Ekron, but when it came to Ekron the Ekronites shouted, 'They have brought me the ark of the God of Israel to kill me and my people!'

Exodus 20:3-5: "Thou shalt not have other gods before me. Thou shalt not make any idol, no image of anything in heaven, on earth, or in the waters under the earth. 1 Corinthians 10:20-22: "No, but what the pagans sacrifice is offered to demons, not God, and I do not want you to have communion with demons. You cannot drink from the chalice of the Lord and the chalice of demons. cannot participate in the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Or will we cause jealousy in the Lord? We are stronger than Him? " This verse emphasizes the importance of not mixing worship with God with pagan practices or worship with idols.
