2 Thessalonians, 1

11. Because of this, too, we pray always for you, so that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may complete every act of his goodness, as well as his work of faith in virtue,

2 Thessalonians 1 talks about God's righteousness and his retribution to those who persecute Christians. The chapter emphasizes that God is righteous and will bring judgment to those who do evil, while rewarding those who remain faithful to Him. Psalm 94:23 - "He shall make his own evil fall upon them and destroy them in his own malice; yes, the Lord our God will destroy them." This verse talks about how God will bring justice to those who practice evil and will destroy them in their own wickedness, as it is emphasized in 2 Thessalonians 1.

Revelation 19:2 - "For true and righteous are his judgments, for he judged the great prostitute who had corrupted the earth with her prostitution and her hands avenged the blood of her servants."
