2 Corinthians 3:6: "He has enabled us to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit quickens." This verse highlights the difference between the new covenant established by Jesus Christ and the old law based on the law. The new covenant is governed by the Spirit, while the old covenant was governed by the letter of the law.
Jeremiah 31:31: "Time is coming," says the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant with the community of Israel and the community of Judah."
