5. Put yourselves to the test to make sure you are in the faith. Examine yourselves. Do you not recognise yourselves as people in whom Jesus Christ is present? - unless, that is, you fail the test.

2 Corinthians 13 is the final chapter of Paul's second letter to the Corinthians. In this chapter Paul rebukes those who question him, reminding them that he is an apostle of Jesus Christ and asking them to examine himself to see if they are really in faith. He also encourages them to strive for perfection and live in peace. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in 2 Corinthians 13:

Romans 12:18: "If it is possible, how much it depends on you, tend peace with all men." Paul encourages Corinthians to live in peace with others, which is an important theme throughout chapter 13.

2 Corinthians 10:8: "For even though I glorie myself a little more of our power, which the Lord has given us for edification and not for your destruction, I will not embarrass myself."
